We are so honoured to have Chamari Athapaththu join the Emerge journey as of June 2021.
Chamari is the Captain of the Sri Lanka
Women's Cricket Team. Her philosophy of leading the team to play "freely, positively and with courage" has propelled the team to be formidable.
She will be an incredible inspiration to the girls we work to support. Chamari is a representation of hard work, and has shone as she broke through barriers and glass ceilings to navigate her journey as a sportswoman.
Together, we are excited to celebrate our young women and bring awareness to their journey of reintegrating back into society as young women who are as unstoppable as Chamari.
